About MPTV Blog

Independent, hands-on guides for the world of IPTV and cord-cutting — written by people who actually use this stuff every day.

Our Editorial Mission

MPTV Blog exists for one reason: to make streaming simple. Cord-cutting has exploded, but the information around IPTV is scattered, outdated, or buried in forums. We publish clear, tested, jargon-free guides that help you set up, optimise and troubleshoot your streaming setup — whether it's your first Firestick or your fifth Android box.

Every tutorial on this site is built around a real device and a real setup. If we recommend an app, we've installed it. If we publish a fix, we've reproduced the problem and solved it first.

Who Writes for MPTV Blog

Marc Delaney

Streaming Tech Editor

Marc has spent 8+ years testing streaming services, IPTV apps and set-top hardware. He has personally reviewed more than 60 IPTV providers and every major streaming device released since 2018. Before MPTV Blog, he wrote for cord-cutting communities and ran a home-networking consultancy. When he's not benchmarking streams, he's watching football in 4K.

How We Research & Fact-Check

Trust is everything in this niche. Here's our process for every article:

  • Hands-on testing. Apps, devices and services are installed and used on real hardware before we write a word.
  • Multiple sources. Technical claims are verified against official documentation and at least two independent sources.
  • Regular updates. Streaming changes fast. Articles are reviewed and refreshed at least every 90 days, and the publish date reflects the last major update.
  • Corrections policy. Spotted an error? Email hello@mptv.blog — confirmed corrections are applied within 48 hours.

How We Make Money

MPTV Blog is reader-supported. Some articles contain affiliate links to products and services we've tested — including our recommended provider, MPTV. If you buy through these links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our test results or rankings.
